The New Life

So, obviously I've dropped off the face of the planet for a while.  Sorry to my "followers" and to my Ya-Ya's (this one goes out to you, Linda!).  Some of you might want an update since my last post, so here goes...

Evan is 11 weeks old since yesterday.  He arrived the day after my Mad Dash post, August 26th at 10:50am, weighing 8 lbs 12 ounces.  The labor and delivery went very quickly and smoothly (under 8 hours with NO drugs!).  Here he is today:

Life in the White household has changed dramatically.  Evan's schedule rules the house for now.  Bedtime is significantly earlier, but at least he is sleeping through most of the night. 

As for my artwork, I'm getting a lot of Pet Portrait orders from Paw Here Awhile Pet Resort.  I've been sketching animals for customers for a few months now, and it seems to be taking off.  Here are a couple of sketches I've recently done.

My time is up... Evan is awake and ready to eat!
