Thank You's

Hey all!

I'm finally back to my "normal" self and keeping busy with things around the house, working at the pet resort, and filling out tons of thank you cards!  Seriously, I thought I was going to be able to knock all the thank you cards out in a couple of hours, but it's more time consuming than I imagined. 

Other than my after-the-wedding-to-do list, my life has settled and I'm truly enjoying being married to Steve.  People ask me if it feels different, and I can honestly say no, it feels exactly the same. :)  I don't think that is a bad thing... we were really happy before we got married and we're still really happy.  The only difference is the fact he is now wearing a ring 24/7. 

For those of you who attended the wedding and didn't get a chance to see Steve's wedding band (and for those of you who just like to read my blog!), let me tell you about it.  I love his wedding band!  We purchased it off of Etsy.  It's such a beautiful piece.  Here's a picture:

The ring he purchased is sterling silver, and it's perfect for him.  Very rustic, light weight, and unimposing.  If you buy anything from Stella Hats, you won't be disappointed.  She is truly an artist.

I do plan on changing my last name, just not until after we have returned from our honeymoon trip to Costa Rica.  I don't want to mess with my last name on my passport just yet. :) 

I'll be sure to blog more often (I've been slacking!) to keep you all updated with the comings and goings of my quiet life.  I'm gearing up to work on some paintings for the 2012 year (I'm waaaaaaay behind on that front).  I need to get back to painting!
