Sunday Lazy Sunday

Sunday should be designated as a Mandatory Day O' Rest.  Maybe then I would just chill out.  But, I rarely ever chill out.  Ever.  I'm always doing SOMETHING.

But at least someone in this family is adhering to the Mandatory Day O' Rest.  Steve is currently napping.

He just returned from camping and white water rafting at Ohiopyle this weekend with his brother and friends.  No girls were allowed, so I hung back at home and had a garage sale with my mom on Saturday.  My first garage sale ever, and my sales SUCKED!  I made a total of $6!  My mom, however, made over $50.  Oh well.  I guess my stuff is crap!

Anywho, I find that Sundays are good for catching up on stuff neglected during the week... like my work.  With my upcoming art show, I am freaking out with organization.  I'm feeling this need to prepare for anything and everything at my first show.  I'm making lists like crazy, yet I feel like I'm getting nothing accomplished.

I'm working on something tangible today, which makes me happy.  I can actually see the results!  Steve's aunt (Sandi) was kind enough to give me the counter (plus weights for my tent) she has used for her art shows.  I was thrilled with the gift!

I'm giving it a bit of a makeover.  I've already primed it, and I'm literally waiting for it to dry so I can start to paint it!  I'll be sure to share the "after" pictures tomorrow.  With the humidity up right now, the paint will take a while to actually dry (gotta love this Western PA weather). 

Gotta get back to my Productive Sunday.  Enjoy the rest of the weekend!
