Art Booth Counter Reveal

After many coats of paint and polyurethane, and many hours of waiting for the layers to dry, my art booth counter is finally finished!!!  The makeover helped tremendously, and it cost me nothing!  I used paint and polyurethane we already had from our house renovations.

Here it is again, before...

 And here it is after!

It looks totally new and fresh, and I absolutely love it!  It will work perfectly for my booth, and I will definitely take lots of pictures when I get my tent and walls up.  I plan on working on my layout at home before I head to my first show.

On top of working on my business stuff today, Steve and I had a pretty cool visitor stop by our house.  Here he is, up close and personal.
It's been awhile since I've seen a box turtle, and this one was super friendly and social.  He (or she!) wasn't afraid of much... except my dogs.
Here's Camper and Pilot checking the turtle out.  They just couldn't figure out exactly what it was.  Camper just stood and barked at it, while Pilot pushed it around with her nose.  For those of you out there reading this and are animal advocates, DO NOT WORRY!  This turtle was not harmed during its visit. :)
I ended up setting it free in the woods shortly after, making sure my dogs had NO idea where he/she was going.  It was really nice having such an exotic visitor this morning!

Okay, back to work.  So many details to figure out still!  I can't wait until I have my stuff all together!

Peacing out,
Nikki
