So! This upcoming week is going to be slightly hefty in my personal goal department. Here is what I HAVE to get done:
1. Finish unpacking (blech!)
2. Wash windows (they are seriously so filthy from all of the construction that took place in the house)
3. Finish painting furniture (still have one bench and a dresser to do!)
4. Stain shelving for master closet
5. Unpack (it won't go away)
6. Finish painting and caulking the kitchen
7. Touch up painting in dining room/office/living room/bedroom/art studio
8. Unpack (nooooooooo!)
9. Go to library (have to add something fun in there!)
10. Walk the dogs :)
Even though I might complain (a lot) I do enjoy working at home. My creative juices are flowing and I am able to work on a lot of my projects and ideas. It's a luxury and I definitely don't take it for granted.
My latest and greatest BIG idea is doing something special with the dresser I'm refinishing for my art studio. My plan is to paint it a very dark grey and then do some cool stencil work on it. Kind of like this...

Okay, not really like that, but you get the idea with the stenciling. I'm not using flowers. I don't want to give it all away, so you are going to have to wait for some pictures to be posted! I need to order the stencil, so this "before and after" may take a while for me to post. I'm so ready to tackle this week! I'll be blogging to keep you all updated on my progress.
Peacing out,
Nikki
