Embarking on Massive Painting

Good morning!  For those of you who live in Western PA, isn't it just so lovely outside?!?!  Seriously, all of this rain we've been getting is nuts!  I can't complain too much though... we have a well from where we draw our water.  It's nice to get the extra, extra moisture.

Anywho, I'm finally getting the courage up to paint a very, very large painting.  It will be approximately 36x50 inches.  The biggest I've ever painted!  Here is what my set up looks so far...

I figured I needed a "WOW" factor painting hanging up in my booth in order to draw prospective customers in.  I'm hoping this will be the WOW factor I need to make people actually open up their wallets and buy some of my work.

I'm a little nervous to get started (it's always the hardest part).  This is the biggest (and going to be most expensive) piece I've ever worked on.  Of course, I'm putting tons of pressure on myself to make it perfect.  Look, even Pilot is a little worried.



I swear, Pilot is me in dog form.  LOVE HER!

SO!  Wish me luck!  I'm going to work on this piece all day today and most of the day tomorrow.  I'm hoping I'll have it finished by then... but we'll see!
