New Paintings!

Worked in my art studio today, and here is what I cranked out (that sounds bad, huh?).

Ambridge Factory Window

Oddly enough, what inspired me to paint this was an abandoned factory I passed in Ambridge on Monday morning.  Of course, the windows there look NOTHING like this painting, but the existing windows inspired this painting out of me.

Baxter Mountains

Steve and I visited Maine in 2009 in the fall, and there was tons of beautiful sights to see.  This painting is one of the scenic views (purely from memory) in Baxter State Park.

This last painting was the one I was struggling with for a few days.  Something about bodies of water in my paintings just don't work well for me.  But I am please with this final result.
