FINALLY!

Hey everyone!

I've finally posted my paintings under My Artwork (also can be found on left hand side of my blog!).  Took me long enough, huh!?  I still have some tweaking to do, as always, so please hang in there as this blog is continually going under construction.

This is going to be a very short post, because I have been sitting here at the computer for the past 5 hours, and I'm pretty much going out of my mind (I haven't even brushed my teeth yet, and it's 2:30... yes, I know, I'm gross).  Hahaha! 

I've been editing and re-editing my digital images for my submissions to art shows.  I am definitely improving my editing skills with this practice.  I use the free image software called GIMP, and I really do like it.  It's also nice to sit back and look at my pieces as an edited group.  I've discovered that I really am all over the place!  I mean, my paintings and inspirations are a little ADD (like me).  I find one thing I love, paint it, and then I go off and find something else inspirational to paint that is totally different!  This is fine and all, but I really need to stick with a theme for a while.  I can't be all over the board, especially when submitting for art shows and even showing at art shows. 

With that in mind, I'm feeling more confident moving forward and continuing my work.  I learn a little each day!
